New “Inspire Angus” Campaign Invites Community to Support ANGUSalive
ANGUSalive has today launched “Inspire Angus” – a campaign which aims to drive donation income to the charity, supporting the delivery of its services.
ANGUSalive – the charitable trust for culture, sport and leisure in Angus – invites people to make small but impactful donations that help maintain ANGUSalive’s wide range of sport, leisure and cultural activities, many of which are free to public from its libraries, museums and countryside parks.
Visitors will see ‘Inspire Angus’ posters spread across ANGUSalive’s venues, which have QR codes linked to them showcasing specific items and activities they can help support.
These will highlight exactly how donations – even in small amounts – directly benefit the community and keep these vital services running smoothly.
Colin Knight acting chief executive said: “Each donation to Inspire Angus makes a real difference. We are completely committed to ensuring we are providing meaningful services in our Angus community and – with the continued support of our community – we’re able to offer a variety of programmes that people want to enjoy.”
“As a not-for-profit charity, any profit made doesn’t go into our pockets. It goes directly back to the community we serve, which is a powerful message we would like to get across with this campaign. By choosing ANGUSalive, you’re choosing to reinvest in activities on your doorstep”.
It is hoped an increase in funds raised through Inspire Angus will support a wide range of initiatives, including it’s Be Active, Live Well programme; management of the Countryside Adventure environmental programmes; the ever popular Bookbug in its libraries, all the way to preserving history in its museums and galleries spaces.
Colin Knight continued: “Whilst ANGUSalive remains dedicated to delivering inspiring programmes and spaces for the people of Angus, the reality is that sustaining these services relies more than ever on community support. By contributing to the Inspire Angus campaign, donors help ensure that these valued services – such as libraries, country parks, theatres, sports facilities and museums – can continue to enrich lives of our residents. With each donation – no matter the amount – our community is helping ANGUSalive face financial challenges and to keep providing accessible, impactful experiences for all.”
Donations to the Inspire Angus campaign can also be made directly through the ANGUSalive website through its “Inspire Angus” page.
