Meet our Macmillan Libraries Co-ordinator
Hazel Freeman has recently been appointed as Macmillan Libraries Co-ordinator, and introduces herself below:
I graduated with a degree in psychology during peak covid times and was working in healthcare throughout my studies with a particular focus on education and fundraising.
I moved on into a finance role and from there into financial marketing, spending time understanding consumer behaviour and leading a women’s initiative group. I worked alongside the health and wellbeing team and developed some key fundraising support channels which helped those in local communities.
Like most of us, we have been touched by cancer in one way or another and that is what led me here, to Macmillan.
I’m looking forward to reintroducing Macmillan across Angus and making sure we support those in our communities that are affected by cancer.
In my spare time I like to keep busy and have recently started learning Spanish. I’m hoping it pays off and I can start planning my retirement for 3080!
