Update on Crombie Park - March 2023

There are still a large number of fallen trees at Crombie Country Park and we understand that this will be causing access issues for visitors.  Following the Storm Arwen damage, it has been and continues to be a huge challenge that lies in front of us to safely remove the fallen trees and re-open the full path network at the venue.

We have worked to clear general areas and paths as far as possible with any small fallen trees that have been cut away generally being moved and left to the side of pathways.  We are continuing to work hard with colleagues at Angus Council to complete a planned approach the path network re-opening at Crombie Country Park.

We ask visitors to Crombie Country Park to please be aware of the changed environment at this time and take extra care when walking at the venue.

The play park at Crombie Country Park has been closed due to safety concerns and we are exploring options with Angus Council regarding the possible future replacement and renewal of play park equipment.

Thank you for your patience.

There is plenty to do at Crombie Country Park. The park has a wide range of walks and trails suitable for both walkers and cyclists and a mini cycle track for mountain bikes.

Wildlife enthusiasts and bird watchers can check out the accessible ponds and the bird hides and squirrel feeding area.

Volunteers of all ages play a vital role in helping maintain the park. If you are interested in volunteering please get in touch. We can help with Work Experience placements, Duke of Edinburgh, Saltire and John Muir Awards.
Crombie park now has all free car parking.
Accessible toilets at the car park and near the visitor centre. Baby change facilities are available at the car park toilets. Accessible visitor centre and bird hide. Discovery, Peddieston and Birchwood Trails accessible.
Dogs, under control, are welcomed all year round except in children’s play park. Please observe signs for restrictions.
