Monifieth Library is located within the Monifieth Activity Centre (MAC), where it offers visitors a modern library environment complete with an IT suite and a variety of scheduled activities, for customers of all ages. The library houses a small collection of historical resources, as well as an extensive collection of reading material. Additionally, it provides the ACCESS service to assist those who may have difficulty using digital or phone channels for services such as Blue Badge applications, housing applications, and bus passes.

The MAC itself features a wide range of facilities, including a 300-seat multi-purpose hall, a beachfront café, a fitness suite, and modern conveniences like super-fast Wi-Fi and Changing Places toilets.
