As well as hundreds of fitness workouts available for all abilities with ANGUSalive sports clubs, our Culture club provides a selection of fun activities and features for all ages, including Bookbug sessions, bedtime stories, craft sessions, lego builds, audio stories, and access to e-books and e-magazines.

How can I get the app?
Everyone can download the app and access the many free features. We’re delighted to share that our bACTIVE monthly and annual members have FREE access to On Demand fitness classes through the ANGUSalive app.
To access on demand features without bACTIVE membership, you’ll need to join an online membership. You can sign up by calling or visiting your local sports centre. You can also join on the app itself. We hope you continue to enjoy our workouts via the app and continue to build on your fitness levels. And if you haven’t tried it yet…why not have a go!
You can download the app from either the Apple store or Google Play store and if you already have the app simply visit ‘My Clubs’ and add ‘ANGUSalive Culture’ which will allow you to access our Culture offering. The app is free to download and the Culture section is free to access.

What can you expect?
The magic of ANGUSalive libraries and museums is being brought directly to homes via the ANGUSalive app.
The new addition to the app provides a selection of fun activities and features for all ages.

Cast to my TV
Cast an On Demand workout to your TV and use your mobile device or tablet as a remote and control everything from playback to volume.
Casting to your TV is a simple way to enjoy your favourite apps, optimised for the big screen. You can even use your mobile device or tablet as a remote and control everything from playback to volume. Let’s get started!
The best Chromecast devices are Google Chromecast (3rd Generation) and Apple TV 4K
Before you begin casting:
1. Connect your mobile device, tablet or computer to a Wi-Fi network.
2. The mobile device, tablet or computer that you are using to cast must be on the same Wi-Fi network as your Chromecast or TV with Chromecast built-in.
3. You must be running the latest version of the Chromecast-enabled app. You can always double check that you are on the latest version by visiting the Google Play Store or Apple App Store and checking for any app updates.
Cast from Chromecast-enabled apps to your TV
- Make sure that the mobile device, tablet or computer that you are using to cast is on the same Wi-Fi network as your Chromecast or TV with Chromecast Built-In.
- Open a Chromecast-enabled app.
- Tap the Cast button. Note: The Cast button isn’t located in the same place on all Chromecast-enabled apps.
- Tap the device to which you’d like to cast.
- When you’re connected, the Cast button will change colour, letting you know that you’re connected.
- You can now cast videos, movies and TV shows directly to your TV.
- To stop casting, tap the Cast button
Cast from Chromecast-enabled apps from iOS devices running iOS 13
- Make sure that the mobile device, tablet or computer that you are using to cast is on the same Wi-Fi network as your Chromecast or TV with Chromecast Built-In.
- Open a Chromecast-enabled app.
- If it requires location permissions, tap Yes.
- Some cast-enabled apps may request location permissions and may not be able to cast if location permissions are not granted.
- In the Chromecast-enabled app, tap the Cast button .
- The Cast button isn’t located in the same place on all Chromecast-enabled apps.
- Tap the device to which you’d like to cast.
- If you’re unable to cast, you may need to wait for the Chromecast-enabled app to release a new version to support cast on iOS devices running iOS 13.

Yes, this is done by selecting the 3 horizontal lines at the top left of the app. You can then navigate to ‘my clubs’ which will allow you to select the Sports sites or ANGUSalive culture from the list once you’ve hit the + sign.
CAN I TURN ON/OFF PUSH NOTIFICATIONS?
Yes this is done in the phone settings like any other app on your smartphone.
The app is available as a free download in the Apple Store and in Google Play. Simply search ‘Angusalive’ and hit download.
HOW DO I ACCESS THE CULTURE SECTION?
Once you have downloaded the app, select the 3 horizontal lines at the top left of the app, go to my clubs and click on the + sign. Search ‘ANGUSalive Culture’ and click to see the Culture section.
DO I NEED A LOGIN TO USE THE APP?
You do not need to login in to access the content for ANGUSalive Culture as this is available to be viewed for free. However, if you want to access the sport and leisure content you will require a log in.
SOME HANDY TIPS TO HELP YOU MAKE THE MOST OF THE APP
Connecting and streaming your onto your TV? When watching On Demand videos, customers have the option to cast to their TV or laptop by using the cast button which will pick up devices such as Chromecast or allow iOS users to select Airplay. Please note that not all TVs are compatible with these features and may require an alternative method of connecting.
When in the app, select from Culture Club or Bookbug.
I AM NOT A MEMBER OF ANGUSALIVE LIBRARIES, CAN I STILL JOIN THE LIVE STREAMS?
Content is open to everyone to access in the ANGUSalive Culture section.

You do not need to login in to use the app and will only have to login when required. You will be prompted to login when making bookings for example. Please note that once logged in it won’t ask members to do this again.

When in the app, select the Virtual Membership button. Select from ANGUSalive or LES MILLS On Demand to find a workout that suits you.
HOW DO I BOOK A CLASS AT MY LOCAL SPORTS CENTRE?
Book onto your favourite class with ease using the app. Simply select the class you wish to join and hit book. The app also allows you to select your favourite classes, which are visible under the favourites tile in the app, making booking your favourite classes even easier!
WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL A CLASS?
Cancelling classes is done easily by selecting the my bookings tile. This will let you see what you’ve booked and cancel any classes as required.
I AM NOT A MEMBER OF ANGUSALIVE, CAN I STILL BOOK ONTO A CLASS AND PAY ON ARRIVAL TO THE CENTRE?
Classes can be booked by a non-member on the app. Pay-as-you-go members can still have an account which will allow them to book and pay via the app. Card details are securely stored allowing customers to quickly pay for activities when they return to make a booking for the 2nd time and thereafter.
