Improvements to Arbroath Sports Centre

ANGUSalive is delighted to confirm that we are working to finalise a funding package that will bring major renovations and improvements to Arbroath Sports Centre, and particularly the swimming pool. The proposed works include essential maintenance of the swimming pool itself, alongside the development of a changing village and addition of a Changing Places Facility.

If funding is successfully secured, the swimming facilities at Arbroath Sports Centre will need to be closed for an extended period while the work is carried out. We fully understand that any closure will be inconvenient for many people, and we are currently assessing how best to mitigate the impact on all our customers and our staff. However, we believe that it will ensure the long-term sustainability of swimming in Arbroath and meet our aspiration to provide the best possible facilities for everyone to enjoy.

We hope to be able to make formal funding announcements soon and then agree timelines for the proposed works so they can be shared with all interested parties in due course.
