Get cosy with Bedtime Bookbug
Families across Angus are being invited to put on their pyjamas and join Bookbug for a special series of Bedtime Bookbug sessions taking place at libraries this autumn.
The free sessions are for families with children aged 0 to 5 years and offer a relaxed way to enjoy some Bookbug favourites before bedtime.
Avril Gordon, Children’s Library Advisor, said:
“Bedtime is such a lovely opportunity for families to slow down and spend some quality time together, and sharing songs, rhymes and stories can make that time even more special. Bedtime Bookbug is a chance to enjoy all the things families love about Bookbug in a relaxed and cosy setting. We hope families will come along in their pyjamas, bring their favourite teddy and enjoy some special story time together.”
Bedtime Bookbug sessions will take place at four libraries across Angus:
- Kirriemuir Library: Wednesday 9 September, 6.00pm to 6.30pm
- Carnoustie Library: Tuesday 22 September, 6.00pm to 6.30pm
- Montrose Library: Wednesday 14 October, 6.00pm to 6.30pm
- Arbroath Library: Thursday 12 November, 6.00pm to 6.30pm
There is no need to book and the sessions are free. Families can simply come along to their local library, ready for a cosy evening of Bookbug fun.
Bedtime Bookbug is part of the regular Bookbug programme delivered by ANGUSalive Libraries, helping families enjoy books, stories, songs and rhymes together from an early age.
