Theatre Star School Announces Upcoming Production of Annie Jnr for March 2025

Theatre Stars School Announces Upcoming Production of ANNIE Jr.

Theatre Stars School is thrilled to announce its second every production –  ANNIE Jr. – bringing the beloved story of little orphan Annie to life on stage. Rehearsals are now underway, and it’s not too late for students to join the cast of this award-winning musical.

ANNIE Jr. is a 60-minute adaptation of the classic Tony Award-winning musical Annie, inspired by the popular comic strip. This version, specifically designed for young performers, retains all the charm, memorable songs, and heart warming moments of the original show. With a cherished book and score by Tony Award winners Thomas Meehan, Charles Strouse, and Martin Charnin, ANNIE Jr. tells the story of Annie, a spirited orphan determined to find her parents in 1930s New York City.

The production follows Annie as she navigates her way through the city, making unforgettable friends along the way. With the support of billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his kind-hearted secretary Grace Farrell, and her faithful dog Sandy, Annie learns that with enough courage and optimism, anything is possible.

Annie Jnr will be Theatre Star Schools second production, following on from the success of its inaugural production of Madagascar Jr the Musical in February 2024.

How to Get Involved:  There are still spots available, and we encourage all interested students to join this exciting journey. Whether you have previous experience or are stepping onto the stage for the first time, ANNIE Jr. is a welcoming environment for everyone.
