ANGUSalive joins LeisureLink Partnership

ANGUSalive have joined a growing initiative providing free use of leisure facilities across Scotland for our bACTIVE members.

The LeisureLink Partnership’ allows those who are part of the scheme access to gyms, public swimming and fitness classes at leisure centres across Aberdeen, Argyll and Bute, the Borders, Highland, Moray, Orkney, Shetland and The Western Isles – all at no extra cost.

With ANGUSalive now joining the reciprocal partnership, it also means that members of High Life Highland – the culture and leisure trust for the Highlands and who administer the programme – and other participating partners will be able to access the leisure facilities across Angus including Arbroath Sports Centre, Saltire Sports Centre, Brechin Community Campus, Carnoustie Sports Centre, Forfar Community Campus, Webster’s Sports Centre and Montrose Sports Centre.

Lynne Haxton, Sport and Leisure Team Leader at ANGUSalive said: “We’re delighted to be able to offer our members the opportunity to keep active at leisure facilities across the country.

“This flexibility means it is an extension of being a bACTIVE member and that people working away from home or on holiday can use local facilities from participating areas as part of their existing membership.”

High Life Highland Chief Executive Steve Walsh said: “On behalf of the other partners across the country, I am very pleased to welcome ANGUSalive to the partnership.

“This collaboration gives leisure members and their families even greater flexibility to use their leisure cards and memberships at various sites right across Scotland, and all at no extra cost.”
