HMS Montrose Display Launched at Montrose Museum

Montrose Museum held a very special event on Friday 9 February to celebrate the unveiling of their new HMS Montrose display, showcasing the ships bell, nameboard and kickplate.

These items have been loaned to the museum after local man David Moxey contacted Angus MP Dave Doogan following HMS Montrose’s final visit to Montrose in May 2023.

This new display gives a fantastic opportunity for members of the public to see the items on show and learn more about the history of HMS Montrose in her namesake town.
