The second event, Authors in Conversation, will occur on Wednesday 20 November, from 6:30 to 7:30 PM at Montrose Library, showcasing authors Marion Todd and James Oswald.

Alongside these complimentary public events, ANGUSalive’s Creative Learning Advisors will tour schools to distribute Bookbug bags to P1 students and Read Write Count bags to P2 and P3 students.

Additionally, the Mobile Library service will participate in the Book Week Scotland festivities with a special author visit by Wendy H. Jones to Colliston Primary School on Wednesday 20 November.

Christine Sharp, Adult & Community Libraries Lead said of Book Week Scotland 2024 “this annual celebration of books and reading takes place across the country in November. ANGUSalive Libraries are very excited to celebrate this year with two engaging author talks as well as events in and around the schools of Angus.
