8 new stops for ANGUSalive Mobile Libraries in 2024
As we head into spring with the launch of our new timetable our Mobile Libraries Isla & Glen will be visiting even more of you around Angus to say hello!
The new timetable will see 8 additional stops added to the already impressive reach of the service. New stops that have been added to the mobile routes are:
- Monikie Country Park
- Glenisla Village Hall
- Newtyle (Coupar Angus Road)
- Finlay Drive/East Muirlands Park
- Auchterhouse Nursery
- Merlin Gardens (Kirriemuir Rd, Forfar)
- Forfar ELCC
- Piperdam (Osprey Road)
As well as an expanded timetable, Isla & Glen will also see the introduction of a regular Bookbug session added to their rounds, bringing Bookbug to Monikie County Park. The first Bookbug session will be held on Monday 8 April between 1:45pm and 2:15pm and will run fortnightly from this date.
Additionally, the Mobile Library Service are thrilled to announce the launch of their very own Mobile Libraries Book group which is to be held at Eassie & Nevay Hall fortnightly.
The new Book group will be officially launched on Tuesday 2 April, 2:15pm – 3:00pm by Marion Todd, author of the DI Clare Mackay series of crime fiction novels set in St Andrews.
