50 Years: A Creative Life – Lisa Badger
ANGUSalive’s Museums & Galleries team welcomes Lisa Badger to her retrospective exhibition at Montrose Museum & Art Gallery.
Someone viewing the 50-year assemblage of Lisa Badger’s artwork could be forgiven for thinking it was produced by any number of artists.
In this show, the works of a hybrid fine art/commercial art creative tell a story of how her upbringing and influences, as well as subsequent world events and revolutions in available technology shape and challenge an artistic career.
The collection also shows her skills and spirit carrying through while she worked in a wide variety of mediums, techniques and styles, looking forward to each creative adventure with something like glee.
The setting of Angus’s Lunan Bay has supported her ultimate creative medium of glasswork, and this show marks her 20th anniversary here.
Museums & Galleries Exhibitions Lead, Meghann Logue said, “We are delighted to welcome Lisa Badger to her first exhibition at Montrose Museum & Art Gallery.
“The breadth and quality of work, from fine art and graphic design to exquisite custom furniture, tells the history of a decades long career of innovation and embracing change.”
Lisa Badger will be exhibiting from Saturday 12 April – Monday 21 July 2025 at Montrose Museum & Art Gallery.
