Please don’t despair if your artwork hasn’t made the final selection. There are a number of reasons why artwork isn’t selected. Sometimes work isn’t selected because it doesn’t suit a visual art exhibition, e.g., if the piece has text heavy elements, or because it is too large or heavy to exhibit in an open exhibition.
Unfortunately, we cannot give individual feedback, but we do encourage artists to come back and enter our Meffan Winter Show again the following year and attend our Winter Show Preview.
You can collect non-selected artwork 9 – 11 November 2024 during opening hours 10.30-4pm. Please note that you are unable to collect non-selected work during the Meffan Winter Show Preview.
Whether your work has been selected or not, you are very welcome to the Meffan Winter Show Preview, and we hope that you will come along to enjoy. Please RSVP if you wish to attend forfarmuseum@angusalive.scot
