Make a Difference: Join Us in Preserving Monikie, Crombie, and Forfar Loch Country Parks!

ANGUSalive’s Countryside Rangers have launched an exciting new project to bring a volunteering group to Monikie, Crombie, and Forfar Loch Country Parks.

Both groups, Friends of Forfar Loch, Friends of Monikie & Crombie start this March with plans to meet once a month, on weekends, from 10:00am to 12:00pm, welcoming participants of all ages and skill/fitness levels.

Led by our Countryside Rangers, these groups will work on various projects in the country parks, such as tree planting, woodland management, biological monitoring, path maintenance, and countryside patrols.

These groups are open to everyone and, in particular, those who wish to contribute to their local park’s upkeep and feel a sense of responsibility for the area.

While reservations are not required, interested individuals can notify the team via email at huw.streater@angusalive.scot if they plan to attend.

Don’t forget to wear your outdoor clothing and sturdy footwear!

Friends of Forfar Loch commenced on Sunday 10 March, and will continue every four weeks, meeting at Forfar Visitor Centre from 10:00am – 12:00pm.

Friends of Monikie & Crombie will launch on Saturday 30 March, meeting at Monikie Country Park car park from 10:00am – 12:00pm.
