First ANGUSalive Wedding Fayre at The Reid Hall a Resounding Success

The event, held on Sunday 30 August, was organised by ANGUSalive to showcase The Reid Hall and highlight the range of possibilities available to couples looking for the perfect venue for their special day.

With free admission, the fayre welcomed couples at every stage of their wedding planning, from newly engaged pairs beginning to explore their options to those putting the finishing touches to their big day.

Visitors had the opportunity to meet a wide range of talented local suppliers and discuss everything from catering and entertainment to ceremonies, transport, bridal wear, photography, décor and drinks.

Among the businesses taking part were Gordon’s Cater Hire, Thomas Baxter Celebrant, Strathmore Woollen Co, Reel of Fortune Ceilidh Band, Ashley Murray – Travel Counsellor – Forfar, Strathview Designs, Robbie and Nicoll, House Of Memories Scotland, Flicks Mobile Disco, Wink Entertainment, Fiona Fotheringham, Angela Maughan Ceremonies, The Lone Piper, Vintage Veils, View from the Slow Lane and Tipple in a TukTuk.

The event provided an opportunity for visitors to meet suppliers face-to-face, gather ideas and discover the wealth of wedding talent available locally. Organisers were delighted with the turnout, with more than 120 people attending throughout the day, making the event a great success.

The positive response from couples and suppliers highlighted the demand for local wedding events and provided an ideal opportunity to showcase what The Reid Hall and the wider Angus area can offer couples planning their special day.

Gordon played a key role in preparing the venue and ensuring everything ran smoothly on the day, helping to create a welcoming experience for exhibitors and visitors alike.
