Whispers of the Loch: The Broommaker’s Workshop Sunday 25 October | 6:00pm – 8:00pm | Forfar Loch | Ages 18+

As autumn settles over Forfar Loch and darkness creeps through the trees, the whispers begin… For generations, tales have been told of wise women, wandering witches and forgotten magic hidden amongst the woodland. On Halloween, when the veil between worlds is said to be at its thinnest, those whispers return to those willing to listen. Follow the Witch’s Path on a short twilight journey through the woods, where folklore and nature intertwine.

As you wander beneath the autumn canopy, keep your eyes open, for somewhere along the path lies the piece of woodland that has been waiting for you. Not every branch becomes a broom. Choose the one that speaks to you, the one that feels as though it has been calling your name. This will become the handle of your very own witch’s broom. Back at our woodland workshop, you’ll bring your broom to life using natural materials, twine, ribbons, feathers, charms and magical trinkets.

Every broom will tell its own story, becoming a unique keepsake to take home, a little piece of woodland magic crafted by your own hands.
