Bruce spent fifteen years performing Scottish history-themed stand-up shows around the world. He’s spent the last years asking YouTube audiences to “Let me tell you his story” as his hugely popular YouTube channel, Scotland History Tours, amassed an incredible 175 000 subscribers.

Film and TV have followed and in 2024 he’ll be coming to Arbroath with stories and jokes in a live show, Stories of Scotland. Nominated for many comedy awards and named Scottish Comedian of the year in 2014, Bruce brings his chirpy, occasionally near-the-bone but self-deprecating style to spice up stories from Scotland’s past.
