Arbroath Library and Angus Archives Reopening Celebration

Join ANGUSalive Libraries & Angus Archives to celebrate the official reopening of Arbroath Library following its recent refurbishment.

There will be something for all ages throughout the morning, including an official reopening, speeches and ribbon cutting, a Bookbug session and the chance to meet Bookbug.

Families can also enjoy a story and craft session inspired by Room on the Broom, while an author visit will also take place with Sandra Ireland.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to discover some of Angus Archives’ historical treasures, with items on display connected to Arbroath Abbey, Brechin Cathedral, Robert Burns, Mary Queen of Scots and the Forfar Witch Trials.

The Museum & Galleries team will have an exhibition in the Corsar Gallery, featuring works from the collection alongside the famous Brueghel paintings permanently displayed in the space.

Everyone is welcome to come along and celebrate the reopening.
