Countryside Adventure workforce development
Countryside Rangers, Callum Lyall and Henry Butterfield, have completed and passed their Lantra Chainsaw Maintenance, Crosscut and Felling Trees (up to 380mm) courses as part of ANGUSalive Countryside Adventure workforce development.
The 5 days of training and 1 day assessment took place on Monday 16 December at Crombie Country Park with Ringlink Services.
Nicola Barbour, Countryside Adventure Lead with ANGUSalive said: “We’re delighted that Callum and Henry have enhanced their chainsaw and felling skills. This is not only beneficial to the environment at Country Parks, but also equips them to support with any storm damage we may experience, such as the devastation caused to our parks by Storm Arwen.”
