ANGUSalive’s Theatre Stars complete their final showcase at The Webster Memorial Theatre
Over the past few weeks, the Theatre Stars students have been learning stagecraft, singing, dancing and acting taught by qualified coaches Hannah Shepherd, Leah Shepherd and Michael Muir, who have shared their skills and knowledge of performing arts with participants.
Celebrating the few weeks of learning, students performed on stage at The Webster Memorial Theatre to showcase their new talents in front of supportive families and friends.
Claire Drummie, Acting Theatre Manager, said “We couldn’t be prouder of our Theatre Stars participants. The talent, energy and confidence on stage is truly inspiring and is a testament to the hard work and passion each performer has poured into the performance.”
Theatre Stars was launched by ANGUSalive in April 2023 and welcomes young people ages 5-18 of all abilities and backgrounds. The dynamic classes are designed to develop confidence, improve health and fitness whilst learning fantastic performing skills in a safe and encouraging environment. All of this helps to develop important social skills for students to take with them into the real world.
This year ANGUSalive’s Theatre Stars is running their first ever Summer School. Packed with singing, dancing, acting and stagecraft, children will build confidence, creativity and teamworking skills whilst having loads of fun. No experience is needed just enthusiasm!
Discover the magic of theatre and let your children shine on and off the stage. Theatre Stars Summer School is for ages 5-18 and will run from Monday 4 August to Thursday 7 August from 10am-4pm at Webster Memorial Theatre. If you would like to book, please email Claire.Drummie@angusalive.scot
