ANGUSalive Freeze bACTIVE Membership Prices for Current Members

ANGUSalive’s Sport & Leisure team has taken the decision this year to freeze their main flagship bACTIVE memberships for all current members ahead of changes to the their prices.

The only price increase that will impact current members is a £1 increase to any adult or junior add on’s that members may have.

One membership – the rolling monthly – will reduce in price by £2.

The decision comes after ANGUSalive’s Sport & Leisure service recently celebrating reaching a milestone 10,000 members in the bACTIVE community, soaring above pre-covid levels and reaching record membership numbers.

Scott Nicoll, ANGUSalive’s Adult Membership and Physical Activity Lead commented: “Our members are the foundation of ANGUSalive’s Sport & Leisure service and this membership freeze is something I am sure they will welcome. 

Often at this time of year we have to increase prices of gym memberships to keep in line with inflation and running costs but we’ve taken the decision not to do that this year. We were very pleased to reach 10,000 members last year across the Angus county which isn’t just a number to us, it’s a community of people who love achieving their fitness goals.

Whether it’s attending one of our gyms, heading to a fitness class or whatever activity they like to do, we’re delighted they are doing it with us“.

ANGUSalive in the last couple of years had embarked on an investment programme in their Sport & Leisure portfolio, with 6 major refurbishments across Angus.

These revamps include a whole host of cardio and fixed resistance machines, multi-functional training rigs, colour-coded training zones and enhanced audio and visual solutions. The redeveloped spaces also feature the latest technology including Myzone, an accurate fitness tracker and online social platform that rewards effort for all physical activity.

ANGUSalive also recently invested in Elevate Studios, a premium group-PT studio which focusses on functional fitness programmes, including classes from Les Mills such as Ceremony and Shapes.
