Angus Aqua Splash Terms and Conditions

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before booking or participating in any Aqua Splash activities provided by ANGUSalive. By booking or taking part in Aqua Splash, you agree to comply with these terms.

1          General Information

1.1       Aqua Splash is an inflatable water obstacle course located at Monikie Country Park and is managed by ANGUSalive. It is designed for fun, physical activity, and challenge on the water.

1.2        The Aqua Splash course consists of inflatable obstacles and activities in open water. Safety equipment such a personal flotation device must be worn at all times during the activity.

1.3        Participants must be 6 years old years old to take part, and children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

 

2          Booking & Payment

2.1       Bookings must be made in advance through the ANGUSalive website or app or by phone, subject to availability.

2.2       Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your spot on the course.

2.3       Tickets are non-refundable, except in the case of event cancellation by ANGUSalive or other unforeseen circumstances as in    extreme weather. In such cases, customers will be offered an alternative session or credit voucher.

2.4       Group bookings and private sessions may be available on request. Please contact our team for details.

 

3          Health & Safety

3.1       Participants should be in good physical health and free from conditions that may impair their ability to participate, such as heart conditions, back problems or any other medical issues.

3.2        Pregnant women and people with a medical condition that impacts daily life are strongly advised not to participate in Aqua Splash.

3.3       It is the responsibility of participants to ensure they have appropriate clothing for the activity. Swimwear is required, and it is recommended to bring a towel and a change of clothes.

3.4        All participants must personal floatation device on the course. Life jackets are provided by ANGUSalive.

 

4          Participant Responsibilities

4.1       Participants must adhere to all safety instructions given by Aqua Splash staff at all times. Failure to comply with safety rules or instructions may result in removal from the activity without a refund.

4.2       Participants must behave in a responsible manner while on the Aqua Splash course. Rough or aggressive play is strictly prohibited to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests.

4.3       ANGUSalive reserves the right to remove any participant from the course if their behaviour is deemed dangerous or disruptive.

4.4       The use of mobile phones, cameras, or other electronic devices is not permitted while on the Aqua Splash course.

 

5          Age & Height Restrictions

5.1       Participants must be 1.2m to take part in Aqua Splash.

5.2        Children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by an adult on the course. One adult can supervise up to 3 children.

5.3       Participants under the age of 16 must have written consent from a parent or guardian.

 

6          Weather Conditions

6.1       Aqua Splash may be closed or sessions cancelled due to adverse weather conditions, such as high winds, thunderstorms, or lightning. In these cases, participants will be offered an alternative session or voucher credit.

6.2        Please arrive at least 45 minutes before your scheduled session. ANGUSalive will not be responsible for missed sessions due to late arrivals.

 

7          Liability & Insurance

7.1        ANGUSalive has public liability insurance that covers accidents occurring on the Aqua Splash course. However, we will not be liable for any injuries, damages, or losses incurred due to negligence, failure to follow safety guidelines, or participants engaging in risky behaviour.

7.2        By participating, I waive any claims against ANGUSalive, its staff, and its affiliates for any injury, loss, or damage that may occur while participating in the Aqua Splash activity, except for claims resulting from gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

 

8          Cancellation & Refund Policy

8.1       ANGUSalive reserves the right to cancel or alter any Aqua Splash sessions due to unforeseen circumstances such as inclement weather, staffing issues, or technical difficulties. In the event of cancellation, we will offer a rescheduled session or a credit voucher.

8.2       If you wish to reschedule your session, please inform ANGUSalive at least 48 hours before your booking by calling 01382 768120.

 

9          Photographs & Filming

9.1       By participating in Aqua Splash, you consent to being photographed or filmed for promotional purposes. If you do not wish to be included in any media, please inform a member of staff prior to your session.

9.2       All images and videos taken during the activity are the property of ANGUSalive and may be used for marketing and promotional purposes.

 

10        Personal Belongings

10.1     ANGUSalive is not responsible for any personal belongings lost or damaged during the activity. Participants are encouraged to leave valuables in a safe place.

10.2     Lockers or storage areas may be available for use at your own risk.

 

11        Code of Conduct

11.1     Participants must follow the Aqua Splash Code of Conduct, which ensures a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. Any participant found in violation of the code may be removed from the course without a refund.

11.2     The Code of Conduct includes respect for others, safe play, and cooperation with staff at all times.

 

12        Disability Access

12.1     ANGUSalive is committed to providing an inclusive and accessible experience for all participants. We strive to accommodate individuals with disabilities to ensure that they can safely enjoy the Aqua Splash activity.

12.2     If you have a disability or require any specific accommodations, please contact us in advance so that we can make the necessary arrangements. This includes assistance with mobility or any special requirements for participation in Aqua Splash.

12.3     While Aqua Splash is designed to be as accessible as possible, certain limitations may exist due to the nature of the activity and the environment. Our staff will work with you to find suitable solutions wherever possible.

12.4     We encourage participants to discuss any concerns or accessibility requirements with us prior to their booking to ensure the best possible experience.

 

13        Changes to Terms & Conditions

13.1     ANGUSalive reserves the right to change or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to participants prior to their session.

By booking a session or attending Aqua Splash, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to the Terms & Conditions outlined above.
