Angus Aqua Splash Officially Opens at Monikie Country Park
ANGUSalive is delighted to announce the official opening of Angus Aqua Splash – Scotland’s newest floating waterpark adventure, now welcoming visitors to Monikie Country Park.
After months of planning and anticipation, the inflatable aqua park is set to make waves as families and thrill seekers are invited to make memories in one of the most beautiful of settings.
This major new £135k investment by ANGUSalive has created 9 new jobs and adds to the Countryside Adventure team’s watersports offering – now rebranded as “The Splash Zone”.
Angus Aqua Splash – the name chosen with the help of Monikie and Newbigging Primary School children – features a wide array of inflatable challenges – including slides, climbing walls, obstacles and more.
Colin Knight, Senior Manager at ANGUSalive said:
“We’re absolutely thrilled to launch Angus Aqua Splash. It’s a fantastic new attraction that brings something special to the county and supports our goal of inspiring healthy, active and creative lifestyle choices. We believe this can add to what is already a fantastic water sports offering that we have and can help Monikie become a destination attraction for locals, as well as visitors from across the country.”
The floating water park is located within the stunning setting of Monikie Country Park, with easy access, scenic surroundings, and plenty to enjoy before or after your session – from peaceful woodland walks to picnic spots and a welcoming on-site café.
All equipment such as wetsuits and buoyancy aids are provided for all participants, along with a comprehensive safety briefing before each session. It’s suitable for ages 6+ and perfect for family days out, birthday parties, school trips and corporate team-building.
