Spring/Summer 2026 – On Stage Brochure Launches
ANGUSalive is proud to unveil its Spring/Summer 2026 Theatre and Venues On stage Brochure, marking what is already shaping up to be a landmark year for live performance in Angus.
A Bumper Start to 2026
The Theatre and Venues Team are delighted to be kicking off 2026 with an exceptional start, celebrating a season defined by sold-out performances, inspiring community initiatives and meaningful opportunities for people of all ages to engage with the arts.
In January, we were thrilled to welcome comedian Stuart Mitchell, whose performance completely sold out and set the tone for the year ahead. The momentum continues as Celtic Illusions take to the stage at Reid Hall on 3 March for another sold-out evening of music, dance and spectacle.
Alongside our performance programme, we are proud to be expanding our community-focused work. This year marks the launch of an exciting new class delivered in collaboration with Scottish Ballet, designed to support local people living with Parkinson’s and MS. This initiative reflects our ongoing commitment to ensuring our venues are welcoming, inclusive spaces where the arts can make a meaningful contribution to wellbeing and quality of life.
We are also delighted by the continued success of ANGUSalive’s Theatre Stars School, which continues to go from strength to strength. Their talented young performers will take centre stage for their annual production of Finding Nemo on 6 and 7 March a much anticipated showcase and a celebration of creativity, confidence and teamwork.
Accessibility remains central to everything we do. We continue to offer a range of Pay What You Can performances across our programme, enabling audiences to select a ticket price that works for them. This approach plays a vital role in closing the attendance gap, ensuring that cost is not a deciding factor in who can access cultural experiences. By removing financial barriers, we can welcome new audiences, support those facing financial pressures and create spaces where everyone feels they belong.
