Shop with Purpose on Museum Shop Sunday

On Sunday 30 November ANGUSalive Museums will join cultural attractions across the UK and beyond to celebrate Museum Shop Sunday.

 This international day of cultural celebration provides an opportunity to discover unique and meaningful gifts that you’ll love and also support arts and culture this Christmas.

Museums at Arbroath Signal Tower Museum, Forfar Meffan Museum & Art Gallery, and Montrose Museum & Gallery all have a beautifully curated range of products unique to Angus. Visit any of the Museums to find out more about the offers and discounts on the day.

Rachel Jackson, Museums Galleries Archives Operations Lead commented: “We’re proud to join over 2,200 visitor attractions worldwide on Sunday 30 November for Museum Shop Sunday to encourage visitors to shop with purpose and support their local heritage attraction. Thanks to Museums Galleries Scotland funding we created unique museum shops in our museums; Arbroath Signal Tower Museum, Forfar Meffan Museum & Art Gallery and Montrose Museum.”

Free Admission to museums and museum shops at Arbroath Signal Tower Museum, the Meffan Museum & Art Gallery, and Montrose Museum & Art Gallery which are open throughout the year, from 1 November to 31 March from Friday to Monday 10.30am-4pm, and from 1 April to 31 October open every day except Tuesday’s 10.30am-4pm.
