What we need and why

ANGUSalive is the ‘Data Controller’ of the personal data you provide to us.

We only collect personal data about you which we need to provide and communicate sport and leisure membership services to you. This will include name, date of birth, contact information (address, telephone number and email address) and photograph. For monthly memberships we will collect your bank details.

If you subscribe to our email updates, your name and email address details will be used solely for the purpose of sending you our free newsletter and information on our services, events, activities, offers and promotions. Should you wish to opt out at a later date, instructions to unsubscribe are included with each email communication.

What we do with it

ANGUSalive maintains data protection controls in line with the General Data Protection Regulation, other data protection legislation and its own Information Security Policy to ensure the effective and secure processing of your personal information.

Your personal information is held on servers within the European Economic Area (EEA) and processed by our staff and our trusted information system service providers in the UK. No third parties have access to your personal data unless permitted by law.

Who we share your information with

We may need to pass your information to other people and organisations that provide a statutory service or where we are required by law.

Your information may be used for statistical purposes and reporting to funders with all statistical data remaining anonymous.

For corporate memberships with approved partners, ongoing entitlement will be reviewed on a regular basis with your employer.

How long we keep it

We will not keep it for longer than is necessary in line with ANGUSalive’s retention schedule.
