Kirriemuir Photography Club showcase work in new Meffan exhibition

Kirriemuir Photography Club returns to the Meffan with a diverse exhibition of members’ work.

A new exhibition celebrating local photography will open at the Meffan Museum & Art Gallery this March, showcasing the work of members of Kirriemuir Photography Club.

Founded in 2015, the club was created to bring together people with a shared passion for photography. Over the past decade it has grown into a thriving group with members ranging from beginners to experienced photographers. The club meets fortnightly for workshops, practical sessions, discussions, guest speakers and competitions, providing a welcoming space for members to develop skills and share ideas.

This exhibition marks the club’s second annual show at the Meffan Museum & Art Gallery and highlights the wide range of photographic interests within the group. Visitors can expect a varied display featuring dramatic landscapes, intricate close-ups and engaging portraits, reflecting both the creativity and dedication of the club’s members.

Meghann Logue, ANGUSalive Exhibitions Lead, said:

The exhibition runs from 28 March to 25 May 2026. Admission is free. For more information please visit www.angusalive.scot/events/kirriemuir-photography-club-2026/
