The Changing Room by SAMH

We’re pleased to welcome the 2nd cohort of The Changing Room by SAMH to Arbroath in April 2026.

The Changing Room is delivered in partnership with SAMH and Arbroath Community Sports Hub runs from Monday 20 April from 7-8.30pm in the Saltire Sports Centre.

The Changing room by SAMH is a 12-week mental health literacy programme designed by SAMH to improve the confidence, resilience and mental wellbeing of males aged 18-30 in and around Arbroath, with a view to improving the lives they lead through physical activity. Each week, participants will be welcomed in by our team of trained facilitators for a cuppy before taking part in conversations linking mental health (through the lens of physical activity) or even being physically active on certain weeks, all conducted in a safe space environment.

Through investment from the National Lottery Community Fund, we are in position to offer year-long membership opportunities for participants in one of our PASS accredited providers after the 12-week programme completes.
