Droving, Weaving & Living in the Angus Countryside – Join us for a very special event combining history and legends.

Local historian Catherine Rice will be revealing the secrets of the vanished village of Burnside of Dun, near Montrose, introducing you to some of the characters who lived there through her research. Storyteller Eileen Budd will be sharing local stories and songs of cattle droving, weaving and plant lore. Eileen will also be bringing a range of historic objects for handling, which will help to bring the history and folklore of the area to life.

Not to be missed.
