Seven films, seven worlds, one incredible journey. This autumn, Montrose Playhouse and ANGUSalive invite you to travel the globe. Across seven weeks, we’ll showcase films from Britain, Australia, India, China, the Middle East, Africa, and Japan. Powerful stories that connect cinema with culture, resilience, and community.

Pick up your cinema passport at the Playhouse box office, collect stamps each week, and unlock rewards along the way – from popcorn to discounts. Together with the Perspectives: Collecting the World exhibition, this series is a unique chance to see the world through both film and heritage.

From Britain to Australia, India to China, the Middle East to Africa, and all the way to Japan, discover powerful stories of resilience, love, and community on the big screen.
