Sport and Physical Activity Framework for Angus working group meets at Webster Memorial Theatre
On Monday 22 September, we joined our partners from Angus Health & Social Care Partnership, NHS Tayside, Active Schools Angus, Dundee & Angus College, Sport Scotland, Voluntary Action Angus and Angus Council for a Sport and Physical Activity Framework Workshop to progress the National Physical Activity for Health Framework for Angus.
The annual sharing and learning event took place at Arbroath’s Webster Memorial Theatre, and was attended by around 30 delegates.
The Sport and Physical Activity Framework is committed to providing the best start for children, reducing inequalities in our communities, creating more opportunities to live well and improving physical, mental health and wellbeing.
We were updated on our key objectives and actions that will help us to encourage Angus residents to become more active.
