Monikie Country Park Aquapark Achieves Prestigious RLSS Gold Standard Accreditation

ANGUSalive are pleased to announce that their Countryside Adventure team has secured the Royal Life Saving Society (RLSS) Gold Standard Accreditation for Angus Aqua Splash – the Aquapark at Monikie Country Park.

Achieving the Gold Standard is a significant milestone that underscores ANGUSalive’s commitment to the highest levels of safety, training, and operational excellence.

This prestigious accreditation reflects rigorous adherence to best practices in lifeguarding and water safety, ensuring that all visitors can enjoy a fun, safe, and secure experience.

The Gold Standard demonstrates that the Aquapark team are expertly trained and continually updated with the latest safety protocols, providing families and participants with peace of mind as they enjoy their time on the water. It sets ANGUSalive apart as a leader in aquatic safety and customer care, reinforcing a dedication to delivering world-class outdoor experiences you can trust.

We’ve received brilliant cross-service support from our Sport & Leisure colleagues in training and fulfilling key aspects of the accreditation process. As we look to make Monikie Country Park and Angus Aqua Splash visitor destinations, it is important we are achieving the highest possible levels that our visitors should expect. Angus Aqua Splash was announced in January earlier this year, and was named with help from local Monikie and Newbigging primary schools who were the first to try out the giant inflatable. It has since gone on to welcome over 11,000 participants in its first season.

This latest certification aligns with ANGUSalive’s existing accreditations from The Royal Yachting Association (RYA), The Adventure Activities Licensing Authority (AALA), and PaddleUK showing further evidence of the organisation’s ongoing commitment to quality, safety, and excellence across all its outdoor and aquatic activities.
