Opening Times
We’re delighted to share that Arbroath Library will reopen to the public on Monday 17 November, a full week earlier than planned, following essential renovation preparation work.
From Monday, you’ll find both Arbroath Library and Angus Archives operating from the first floor of the library building, where we’ll be offering a reduced service while ground floor renovation work continues.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we make improvements to your local library and archive facilities. We can’t wait to welcome you back!

In the Heart of Arbroath
Situated in the heart of Arbroath, the library offers fantastic services including an IT suite, children’s area and art gallery. If you are visiting the area the Arbroath Library team will be able to help you by highlighting points of interest and activities across Angus. The library holds a comprehensive collection of local history resources about the local area. The Library also provides the ACCESS service which can help anyone unable to use digital or phone channels with Blue Badge applications, housing applications and bus passes.
