Guided Walk to Corrie Fee

Guided Walk to Corrie Fee

Join the Ranger for a guided walk up through Glen Doll Forest to the magnificent Corrie Fee! We will talk about the wildlife that lives in the forest, the rare species that are able to thrive in the rocky corries above, the human history of the area, and the way that vast natural forces have shaped and carved the landscape that we see today.

The walk is one-way to Corrie Fee, with some stops along the way to talk about what we see. The walk endpoint at the corrie is an excellent place to stay and have some lunch, or you can then carry on across the corrie to the dramatic waterfalls that lead up to the plateau above. This then leads to the trail that takes in two Munros, Mayar and Driesh. Alternatively, you can return down through the glen to the Glen Doll Ranger Base.

The outward walk is around 4km, on forest roads and trails. Please come prepared with suitable outdoor clothing including appropriate footwear and a warm jacket.

This walk is not a paid event; however we do gratefully accept donations in our donation box in the Glen Doll Ranger Base. ANGUSalive is a charitable trust for Culture, Sport and Leisure, and all donations go towards the running of the charity and help support the Ranger Service.
