Get Sew Creative – Taster Session

Join a friendly, free creative sewing project for older people at Forfar Library’s Lend & Mend Hub. Led by local artist Maureen Crosbie, these workshops offer the chance to refresh sewing skills or learn the basics of using a sewing machine while working together to create a community banner.

Taster sessions take place on Friday 6 February, followed by a block of four weekly Friday workshops from 13 February to 6 March, with morning or afternoon options available. All materials are provided, and no previous experience is needed.

Places are limited and booking is essential. Participants must be library members (free to join).
