Group Exercise Classes

Whether you’re taking the first steps on your fitness journey or looking to push yourself to your limit, Our Group Exercise Classes offer something for everyone.

Take a look at the choice of classes available across seven sports centres and that are included with your membership, you’ll be spoilt for choice with the fantastic range classes available.

Active Wellbeing

A collection of classes designed to support individuals progressing from Active Start referral programme or just starting their fitness journey following prolonged break following inactivity, illness or injury.

Spaces are limited in these classes, if you are attending other classes in our group fitness timetable Active Wellbeing classes are not the most appropriate for you.

Fit Together

A friendly class where you can bring your children to relax, while you take on a full body workout.

Gentle Aqua Aerobics

The low intensity pool workout is suitable for everyone and will help improve your general fitness.

Health Walks

Short, free, low-level walks which can help you build confidence in walking, connect with nature and make new friends.

Movement to Music

A fun, gentle exercise class set to music - seated or standing, support recovery, improve mobility, balance, and coordination.

Pilates for Pain

This gentle, mindful Pilates class is specifically designed to help you manage and reduce chronic or recurring pain.

Quiet Swim

Seated Yoga

Strength for Life

Supervised Gym

A social gym session with a supportive instructor on hand to guide you.

Tai Chi QiGong

A gentle form of exercise which involves slower, intentional movements combined with breathing techniques to encourage mindful activity.

Wellbeing Circuits

Easily adaptable for all abilities, this introductory circuit class uses different exercises to improve overall health.

This class is designed to focus on strength, cardio and athletic performance, and consists of a 30-minute HIIT workout, providing the challenge and intensity you need to enhance your fitness level. 14+

Booking your activities

All activities must be booked in advance. You can do this via the ANGUSalive app, our website or by phoning the sport centre direct. Payment is also required at the time of booking if the activities are not included in your membership.
