Angus Sport and Physical Activity Framework
Our Vision:
The Angus Sport & Physical Activity Framework is committed to supporting communities across Angus to enjoy a more active way of life.
The Sport & Physical Activity Framework promotes physical, mental, and social wellbeing and supports the Scottish Government’s Physical Activity for Health priorities. Using a whole-systems approach, it brings together partners – including Angus Health and Social Care Partnership, Angus Council, Dundee and Angus College, NHS, Public Health, sportscotland, and Voluntary Action Angus – while aligning with Angus Community Planning Partnership priorities.

Strategic Priorities
Aligned with the Angus Community Plan, the Framework focuses on:
- Reducing inequalities in our communities
- Providing the best start in life for children
- Creating more opportunities for people to live well and achieve their personal goals
- Improving physical and mental health and wellbeing

- Annual Sharing & Learning Event: Whole-system reflection and showcasing progress
Current Focus
- Outcome Refresh: Updating working group outcomes to align with the new vision and priorities
- Reporting & Data: New MS Forms template for consistent reporting now created
