Conditions of Use

• We would like to take photos/film of you/your child to use for publicity purposes as follows:
• Printed publications such as leaflets, booklets, plans and reports
• Display materials such as banners and posters.
• To issue to the media alongside press releases.
• To use on our website (angusalive.scot)
• To use on social media networks such as Facebook and Instagram.

Please note that websites and social media can be seen throughout the world, and not just in the United Kingdom, where UK law applies.

• We recognise the need to ensure the protection and safety of children and young people and vulnerable adults taking part in any activity associated with ANGUSalive. Also to help us comply with the Data Protection Act 1998 we need your permission before we take or use any photographs/film of you/your child.
• Children under the age of 18 cannot give their own consent; the permission of the parent, guardian or responsible adult is required.
• In order to prevent individuals, particularly children, from being identified we will not use personal information (eg names) in photograph captions unless express consent has been provided.
• This form and photographs will be retained for two years. Your consent will automatically expire after this date. Photographs already in use may continue to appear in publications or on websites/social media after this time.
• We will store the photographs securely in our photo library.
• You can ask the ANGUSalive to stop using these images at any time, in which case they will not be used in future publications but may continue to appear in publications already in circulation including on websites/social media.
• ANGUSalive may wish to retain certain photographs or images for historical or archival purposes. This will be on an exceptional basis and we will seek advice from our archives team.
• Other than as specified above, the information that you give us here will only be used to contact you about these photos. We will not pass the details recorded on this form on to any other organisation without your permission.
• ANGUSalive will take all steps to ensure these images are used solely for the purposes they are intended. If you become aware that these images are being used inappropriately you should inform us immediately.
