Victoria’s exhibition – Beyond the Horizon – is on show at the Meffan from Saturday 25 April – Monday 26 June 2026.

Beyond the Horizon explores the wild beauty of Scotland’s land and seascapes through striking and atmospheric paintings that celebrate nature’s vastness and constant transformation.

From Angus to Shetland, Victoria Wylie‘s work reflects an on-going fascination with the shifting relationship between land and sea, where sky, water and earth converge. Immersion in place is central to the artist’s process, each painting shaped by direct experience, deep connection, and a profound respect for the power and presence of the natural world.
