Scottish Ballet Health Dance Programme – Parkinsons
Part of Scottish Ballet’s acclaimed Dance Health programmes, the sessions use gentle, adaptable movement to help improve balance, coordination, mobility and overall wellbeing, while also offering a welcoming and supportive social experience.
Weekly free classes will then run on Tuesdays from 17 February, 1.30–3.00pm. on a hybrid model live streaming through Zooms with 5 in person sessions at the Webster Memorial Theatre.
In person dates- 17th March, 19th May, 11th August, 27th October, 1st December, 16 March 2027
Led by Scottish Ballet’s experienced Dance Health artists, the sessions are inspired by the company’s repertoire and accompanied by uplifting music. Classes are mainly seated, with the option to stand if participants wish, and no previous dance experience is required. Participants are welcome to bring along a companion for support.
