Robert Burns : His life, his works and his legacy in Angus

Join us for a pop-up exhibition at Montrose Museum celebrating Robert Burns and telling the story of his connections to Angus.

The display will include a large collection of Burns books from the collection of local Burns expert Dave Ramsay B.E.M including a rare 1896 centenary edition of “The songs of Burns, for voice and pianoforte” with historical notes and illustrations. Also showcased at the exhibition is a relief of Robert Burns by sculptor Brian Wylie which will be auctioned internationally in early 2024.

The exhibition is being delivered as part of the Montrose Burns Festival in partnership with Montrose Burns Club.
