Formed in 2015, Kirriemuir Photography Club brings together people who share a passion for photography, from complete beginners to experienced practitioners.

Meeting fortnightly, the club offers a varied programme of workshops, practical sessions, discussions, guest speakers and friendly competitions, creating an encouraging space to learn, experiment and grow.

Now celebrating a decade of creativity, the club has developed a strong and diverse membership, united by a supportive and inclusive ethos. Members are encouraged to share their work, develop new skills and explore a wide range of photographic styles and interests.

This exhibition, the club’s second annual showcase at Meffan Art Gallery and Museum, highlights the breadth and quality of their work. From dramatic landscapes and intimate close-ups to striking portraits, the photographs on display reflect the imagination, technical skill and dedication of Kirriemuir Photography Club’s members.

Together, these works celebrate local talent and invite visitors to see the world through many different lenses.
