Kids ALOUD!
We warmly welcome all families to join us for a dedicated Kids ALOUD! Day.
Our Kids ALOUD! days are for families to have fun and explore our museums and galleries with the reassurance that children can be as loud and energetic as they like. At all our museums, we have lots of fun activities for children including our Time Trek backpacks and arts and crafts trollies.
Come along at any point throughout the day (last entry is at 3.30pm). Entry is free.

6 August: Meffan Museum & Art Gallery
11 August: Arbroath Signal Tower Museum
13 August : Montrose Museum & Art Gallery
Why Kids ALOUD?
Over half of UK parents who took part in research told Artfund that they worry about taking their children to museums or galleries. That’s why Artfund launched Kids ALOUD! at museums across the UK – special timeslots and events where your children are invited to be as loud and energetic as they like. It’s a joyful way to show that museums aren’t just for quiet adults, they’re for curious, creative, and yes, loud kids too.
