Drop in and get creative with Dundee Stitch and Textile Group at Meffan Museum & Art Gallery!

Join us for one of two relaxed, friendly drop-in textile sessions on Friday 13 March, running from 10:45am–12:45pm and 1:45pm–3:45pm. These informal workshops are open to all skill levels, whether you’ve never picked up a needle before or already have some experience and want to develop your confidence.

You’ll have the chance to explore a range of simple stitching techniques, get hands-on advice from experienced members of the Dundee Stitch and Textile Group, and enjoy some creative time in an inspiring gallery setting. No pressure, no prior knowledge needed. Just come along, have a go, and enjoy discovering what textiles can do.

Perfect for beginners, curious creatives, and anyone looking to try something new.

These workshops are part of the Novel Ideas exhibition which runs until 23 March 2026.
