Councillor Serena Cowdy

Serena lives in Arbroath and represents the ward of Arbroath West, Letham and Friockheim on Angus Council. She is also Environment and Active Travel Spokesperson for the administration. Serena was a consumer rights journalist for several years, before running communications projects for a range of wildlife and conservation charities. Most recently, she founded and ran a two-year project called Seeds of Hope Scotland, which donated free seeds to community groups to help them create greener, more attractive local environments. Serena hopes her third sector and environmental experience will help ANGUSalive develop and thrive.
