Sports – Providers and Community Sports Hubs
What we need and why
ANGUSalive is the ‘Data Controller’ of the personal data you provide to us.
We only collect personal data of your organisation’s representatives for the Community Sports Team to provide general support and advice to your organisation/Community Sports Hub, accreditation/CPD support and to process block booking requests for ANGUSalive venues. This will include name and contact information (address, telephone number and email address) of your president, chair, secretary, head coach and main club contact.
If your organisation subscribes to our email updates, the organisation’s representative(s) name and email address details will be used solely for the purpose of sending our free newsletter and information about our work including community sport news, training courses, funding opportunities, events and training. Should you wish to opt out at a later date, instructions to unsubscribe are included with each email communication.
What we do with it
ANGUSalive maintains data protection controls in line with the General Data Protection Regulation, other data protection legislation and its own Information Security Policy to ensure the effective and secure processing of your personal information.
Your personal information is held on servers within the European Economic Area (EEA) and processed by our staff and our trusted information system service providers in the UK. No third parties have access to your personal data unless permitted by law.
Who we share your information with
We may need to pass your information to other people and organisations that provide a statutory service or where we are required by law.
We may share your data with Angus Council’s Active Schools Team where a partnership approach is appropriate.
Your information may be used for statistical purposes and reporting to funders with all statistical data remaining anonymous.
How long we keep it
We will not keep it for longer than is necessary in line with ANGUSalive’s retention schedule.
