What we need and why
ANGUSalive is the ‘Data Controller’ of the personal data you provide to us.
We only collect personal data about you to allow us to respond to your compliment, comment or complaint. We need to process your personal information if you chose to escalate your complaint to the Scottish Public Services Ombudsman.
What we do with it
ANGUSalive maintains data protection controls in line with the General Data Protection Regulation, other data protection legislation and its own Information Security Policy to ensure the effective and secure processing of your personal information.
Your personal information is held on servers within the European Economic Area (EEA) and processed by our staff and our trusted information system service providers in the UK. No third parties have access to your personal data unless permitted by law.
Who we share your information with
Where you ask the Scottish Public Services Ombudsman to look at your complaint we will be legally obliged to share your information with them.
We may also need to share your complaint with other organisation(s) named in your complaint where it is necessary and in the public interest to do so.
We may need to pass your information to other people and organisations that provide a statutory service or where we are required by law.
Your information may be used for statistical purposes and reporting to funders with all statistical data remaining anonymous.
How long we keep it
We will not keep it for longer than is necessary in line with ANGUSalive’s retention schedule.
