Adventure awaits at Monikie Country Park and Forfar Loch with full and half day camps for outdoor lovers.
Sport & Leisure have lots of super sports camps including football, gymnastics and trampoline to turn up the heat and keep kids on their feet.
Have you always wanted to find out about the wildlife that lives on your doorstep? Join the Scottish Wildlife Trust and the team from Montrose Museum on an urban wildlife walk from the Museum to the Montrose Basin Visitor Centre.
There’s arts and crafts for culture creatives including new Sew Good at Forfar Library, where anyone over the age of 16 can learn how to use a sewing machine, overlocker and embroidery machine. This is a free activity funded by Scottish Library and Information Council.
To celebrate Harry Potter Book Day on 12 October, all libraries are hosting a Harry Potter Activity Day where everyone who takes part will be entered into a prize draw to with a Harry Potter gift!
Thanks to funding from Angus Council Holiday, Food and Fun budget, free and partially funded places are available for disability and inclusion activities.

Following our Summer 2024, our Sports Hub Camp is running again in partnership with Angus Council Active Schools, Angus Council Holiday Food and Fun, Forfar Community Football Trust, Kanzen Karate, Kempo Kobudo Scotland, Strathmore Cricket Club, Strathmore Community Rugby Trust and Strathmore Rugby Football Club. You will be able to try lots of sports from the clubs above, along with Boccia and lots of games and activities. This is an inclusive camp for all abilities. Come and join in the fun!

Discover the wildlife on your doorstep. Have you always wanted to find out about the wildlife that lives on your doorstep? Join the Scottish Wildlife Trust and the team from Montrose Museum on an urban wildlife walk from Montrose Museum to the Montrose Basin Visitor Centre. Then spend time at the centre and enjoy a well-earned cuppa. Please bring outdoor clothing and suitable footwear, and a packed lunch if you wish. Attendees will make their own way back to the town centre either by bus (from outside the centre) or on foot. To maximise the chance of seeing wildlife on route, dogs are not permitted on this walk. Booking is essential for this free walk funded by Museums Galleries Scotland Natural History Project.
