Movember is the leading charity in raising awareness of men’s health issues and has funded more than 1250 men’s health projects since 2003.
Liam Suttie, Jack Wood, Ross Rankin, Gordon Stirling, John Brand, Taylor Wood and Ben Steel have ditched their razors to raise funds for the charity which is close to their hearts for this annual event to raise awareness of health issues that can affect dads, brothers, sons and mates such as prostate cancer and mental health problems.
John Brand said: “ I personally have had a tough year due to medical reasons and ended up in hospital only 3 weeks after my own wedding where I needed emergency surgery.
This had a big impact on my mental health as I struggled to come to terms with the change to by body. I feel it is important to raise awareness for men’s mental health so I wanted to take part in Movember to help show my support”
Ross Rankin said: “ I am taking part in Movember this year to help raise awareness for mens health and cancer awareness. Having lost a family member to cancer I felt like I wanted to do my part”
Gordon Stirling said: “I have also lost family to cancer and I wanted to take part to help make a difference”
